ABOUT ME
J.K. Savoy has always learned by doing. He has been a corporate executive, a restaurateur and a pilot for Robert Vesco: a legendary fugitive financier. While barely old enough to vote, J.K. Savoy became a candidate for political office. Somewhere in Brooklyn chronicles his most unusual career choice of all: Living as an urchin on the streets of Brooklyn where he was forced to survive by trading loose joints for food and favors – a far cry from a prior life of privilege and comfort. This undertaking ended with his creation of the celebrated Brooklyn moving company, Kenny The Mover. J.K. Savoy has written three other novels: And Then There’s Lily, Night Bird and In The Wind. By the way, Savoy no longer lives on the street!
